Bowest Motors endeavours to operate in an environmentally responsible manner. Where possible, we are moving towards using biodegradable solvents and cleaners, recycled materials, and try to minimize our waste production and energy consumption. We ensure all of our used motor oil and other fluids are recycled appropriately, as are any used tires, parts, and supplies we accumulate. We predominantly use lead free wheel weights on all tire changes. We work closely with our customers to maintain their vehicles in top operating condition to ensure maximum efficiency for their daily driven vehicles. We are located on a bus route into downtown so our customer’s can easily access public transit using complementary transit tickets we provide while their vehicle is being repaired. We also have bike lanes on Bowness Road that can connect with the regional pathway system which provides access throughout the city by bicycle. By virtue of locating our business in the community we live, we are able to walk to work, and ride our bikes to the local coffee shop.
